Lithium should get automatic bragging rights when one of our customers wins an award! We’re thrilled to congratulate Deniz Bank, an IICS / Lithium Social Web (LSW) customer, who ran away with not one—but two—awards at the annual BAI-Finacle Global Banking Innovation Awards 2014.
DenizBank’s innovative motto of “Life is beautiful at DenizBank” was in full effect at the award’s ceremony in Chicago on November 12. The Turkey team was recognized as the Most Innovative Bank of the Year for their focus on solving problems, making life simpler and engaging their customers. They have established themselves as an innovative bank in the Turkish financial sector that strives to become the “bank at the hearts of people” by continually putting their customers first. They were applauded for being the industry leaders in a constant search for more efficient and convenient ways of banking, backed by their belief that their customers’ experiences are created by the sum of all touch points.
Specifically, the DenizBank team achieved excellence in the areas of internal process and customer-facing innovation through their “first-of-its-kind” products and technology investments. Their Digital Generation Banking Department, which focuses on digital projects with a concentration on brand new web and mobile services, built a digital banking ecosystem for their customer segments ranging from mass to SMEs with products such as MobilDeniz (a mobile banking app), Facebook Banking application, and Twitter Loan, to name a few. As DenizBank stated in their 2014 Lithys submission, “We work towards creating– rather than following—trends, and we place digital and mobile technologies at the very heart of our operations.” In preparing DenizBank’s Digital Ecosystem for the next generation, the team is currently building existing products over gamified infrastructure that is supported by social games applications.
The DenizBank Turkey team was also crowned the recipient of another honor by the BAI-Finacle judging panel- The Innovation in Internal Process Improvement Award. They were commended for their scenario-based collection software, “inter-Collect”, that combines a best practice decision engine and a case management system. This cutting-edge software enables the bank to minimize collection costs by identifying the most effective ways to allocate resources and to enhance collection effectiveness through consumer-level analysis.
We’re so proud to work with the best-of-the-best. Congratulations, DenizBank!
